How the Balance Between Objects and Space
Impacts the Immersion of Exhibits

This poster was created for the Knowledge Integration poster symposium at the University of Waterloo in Fall of 2016. This event took place after traveling with my cohort of fellow students to Copenhagen, Denmark, in the spring of the same year.
Our trip's objective was to view and study museums in another part of the world that does not primarily speak English, and observe how their exhibits are able to communicate ideas and information, regardless of language.
Each poster at the symposium aimed to examine a particular aspect of museum design that we noticed on the trip, with mine focusing on the balance between the objects included in an exhibit and the space of the exhibit itself.
"An exhibit's objects are important in establishing [...] immersion, as objects can add to an experience in ways that no photo can."
